On our first evening we have a cook up together, usually a beach barbeque (weather permitting then maybe head for a drink at one of the cities vibrant pubs.
Day 2

Then maybe a snorkel at Sanctuary Cove or a visit to Murray’s micro-brewery before we return to Newcastle for a traditional Aussie pub meal
Day 3
On the morning of day 3 (Sunday) you have some free time in Newcastle to explore some of the city’s arts and craft shops, have a leisurely coffee or brunch and appreciate some of the beautiful federation architecture of Australia’s second oldest city or perhaps walk along its newly regenerated waterfront area on the Hunter River.
On our return journey to Sydney we make a stop at Lake Macquarie, Australia’s largest saltwater lake and go for walk to one of the beautiful beaches on the Central Coat. We usually arrive back in Sydney around 6.00p.m after a memorable weekend and possibly having made some new friends.
